Movie Review: Great for the kids, not for the adults.

As we do with anything of this sort that we intend to let our kids watch, my wife & I previewed this DVD.
Wow, this is SO not for adult viewing. I mean, like really not for adult viewing. Miss Pattycake is sugary sweet, like a gallon of maple syrup at a time kind of sweet. While this makes most adults want to run for the nearest bucket, the kids love this stuff. In terms of content, it's all subjective -- we think it's good & sound, but some other guy thought it was too preachy. Check it out for yourself and judge first.
What's good? We'd been having a bit of trouble getting our 3 year old to get his head around the idea of Easter -- Jesus dying, the resurrection, etc. However, this video really does a good job of putting it all together in a way that a 3 year old can actually understand. Plus, he's singing all the songs too, all of which are related to the Easter story.
