Movie Review: Glad I discovered this one

My mate lent me this amazing little film and after viewing it I immediately ordered my own copy.This is a very compelling and weirdly hypnotic film that is quite difficult to shake from your mind for days afterwards. I liked the cinematography very much with its bright, saturated colours that contrast very nicely with the dark subject matter.
The performances hold the attention too with a very strange collection of characters.
Bleak, brave, exciting and curiously affecting.

I had this on VHS for almost 12 years. So I decided to get it on DVD and let me tell you this film delivers the goods. Many of you have probably seen CLOVERFIELD, this movie shot in regular film is almost the same story as to Cloverfield, Boyfriend goes back for girlfriend before something happens.
But this movie had something that Cloverfield didn't have, was a good plotted story and it was enjoyable from start to finish. A great film. You should all see it.
Movie Review: BETTER THAN EXPECTED

I watched this DVD movie last night. I didn't expect the movie to be as good as it was. The story-line is very original and it kept me glued to my seat. I felt the movie was a little drawn out in parts though.
What I did like about this impending "disaster" movie was the fact that it did not concentrate on establishing the background of the characters too much. So many other disaster movies do this to make up for a weak script.

The many reviews here tell the story. I gave this five stars because it is a gripping suspenseful film. I especially liked the ending where he asks his waitress girlfriend if she "believes" and I won't spoil the ending for you. Definitely worth watching. If you want to have a little look at what it would be like if the buttons were really pushed. This one is a few years old but I always thought it had a good message and a story line to keep you interested till the end. I love it.
