Movie Reviews of Meet the Robinsons

Movie Review: don't let the previews fool you!
Summary: 5 Stars

this movie was much better than i expected. from the previews i had seen, it looked so-so. i rented it for my kids to watch because i knew they would recognise it from those previews, and i loved it. i would not return it untill i got my own copy. usualy the kids are the ones playing a movie over and over, but i am the one doing it now. this is one of my absolute favoriate movies!! it is wonderfull, the dinner scene and the last 5 minutes are the best parts!!! dont let the previews fool you, they dont do it justice because they cant...you just have to sit and watch it.

Movie Review: A charmer
Summary: 5 Stars

Meet the Robinsons is the story of an orphan named Louis who is transported to the future by a boy named Wilbur who needs Louis to help him repair a time machine and avoid a man in a bowler hat.

This Pixar offering was amusing and adorable, but the best parts of the movie were the lessons in friendship, trust, accountability and forgiveness learned by Louis, Wilbur and Louis' roommate Goob.

I particulary liked the quote from Walt Disney at the end of the movie, which inspired one of my children to try his hand at inventing.

Movie Review: Pleasantly surprised
Summary: 5 Stars

I got the DVD just for the Rex part. I was so pleasantly surprised that this had a very touching story line! What a nice family movie! My son (14) watched it first when he was sick, and thought it was way better than he expected. It peaked my curiosity to hear him say that so I decided to watch it. Boy was I in for a pleasant surprise! We had family night, and I broke out the movie. My daughter (16) and husband really enjoyed it, and my son and I enjoyed it for the second time! I would gladly recommend this DVD to anyone!

Movie Review: meet the robinsons
Summary: 5 Stars

i wasn't really planning on watching it, but it was one of the choices on the on-screen-menu on my flight to montreal, so i gave it a try.

i'm glad i did.

the whole movie led up to an overwhelming feeling of happiness and was full of "aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww!"s.

you can already read about the plot in almost every other review, so i won't talk about it.

but the ending was amazing, and the song "little wonders" by rob thomas is now forever burned into my memory, which is a good thing.

Movie Review: Better than Shrek The Third!
Summary: 5 Stars

You can't be bored while watching this movie. I had a great time seeing this in theaters, and on DVD. The story is engaging and the animation is flawless (though it's not PIXAR standards). I've played it in my home theater, and the 5.1 tracks are very entertaining and worthwhile. The bonus features are fun and the presentation is nice. I must say, even though I loved the first two Shreks, the third one isn't worth your time. So if you plan on buying that, forget it and pick up Meet the Robinsons instead.
