Movie Review: Favorite kid movie of all time!
Summary: 5 Stars
Until I saw this movie, Cars and Toy Story 2 were my favorite kid movies. We rented this for our 4 year old and I wasn't very interested in watching it since I didn't know much about it. I reluctantly sat down and was hooked! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. Since we rented it a few weeks ago, I've watched this movie about 15 times already, start to finish. I'm a huge movie person, and not usually big on kid movies, and I LOVE this movie. It's fun, has a great message, and I just love the ending. Sure, it's sappy but it gets me every time - yes, I'm a weeper and I literally weep every single time I watch the ending. I'm a 34 year old adult who only recently started watching kid movies b/c of our own child and this is one of the best I've seen, actually for me - a mom, THE best. I'm just sad there isn't a Meet the Robinsons 2.Movie Review: Happy ending I could watch a million times!!!!!!!!!

Someone bought this for my oldest son a while back and I had not yet watched it; judging the book by it's cover, I was not interested. Somehow I got stuck with this video in the car and it was all my kids had to watch. After we got home I threw it into the DVD player immediately so I could WATCH it- not just hear it from the back seat. It's adorable!!! I have always disliked movies about orphans because they make me sad but this movie never let me feel sad- it is so clever and cute and has a happy ending so sweet I cry every time!! So many other shows use corny fillers to prolong the agony but this movie moves so quick, you're never sitting there bored, waiting for something to happen! I HIGHLY recommend this adorable movie; it has a happy ending that I could watch a million times!!!Movie Review: Uh... but I don't need a duck.....

I have to say, for giving this movie a 5 star rating, it is not my die hard favorite disney movie, but it's really quite cute and funny. Both my wife and I enjoyed it in the theater, but never felt we'd need to buy it. We ended up getting it as a gift and have watched it three times since. Each time it gets funnier and funnier. From the suspiciously perceptive and insightful 11 yr old roomate "Goob" to the silly banter between the Robinson family, there is always something new to enjoy. It was a wonderfully heart-warming movie with a great message that is too often overlooked in life. Although it's it may not have some of that amazing wonderment of other great movies I've seen, I do not hesitate to call this a great movie and rate it with 5 stars!Movie Review: The film pays homage to a number of established iconic movies...

"Meet the Robinsons" was initially based on the book by William Joyce entitled "A day with Wilbur Robinson." While Disney's movie focused on a young inventor name Lewis who specializes in innovative inventions. Lewis adventure begins when he meets Wilbur and journeys across time to avert any changes in the space time continuum.
The film pays homage to a number of established iconic movies such as Back to the Future, Star Wars, Casino, and generic Kung-Fu inspired action sequences. "Meet the Robinsons" also tackles a number to issues such as friendship, responsibility, integrity, and the importance of a family unit/parental figure in one's life.
It's a great movie and one that every family should take time out to see.
