Movie Review: A fun movie for the whole family

This movie is great, I enjoy watching it alot, Mara Wilson is a smart kid in this movie, I love the very end of the movie where Miss honey adopts Matilda, I wonder if there's a second part to this great movie, It would be great to see how Miss Honey and Matilda lived together and if Miss honey ever got married, I guess we will never get to see that happen.Movie Review: Good over evil

If you want an old fashioned story how good can succeed over evil without all the violence, sex, and foul language, this story is for you. The acting is fantastic and the special effects are great. This is one for the whole family without getting embarassed by something said or done. Having worked and lived in five countries and seen about 4000 movies (at least) in three languages, I can confirm that Matilda shows what America is still made of, the dreams can come true! point.
If you ever doubt of trying for your dream, that movie will show you that with courage, hard work, faith and not giving up that you can do it!

This is one of the only movies where I don't prefer the book it's based on. I love this movie. The actress playing Matilda manages to come across as very smart without being obnoxious and the other actors are great too. This movie also sticks really closely to the book. I have long been impressed with this movie and I do believe that Roald Dahl would be proud of how it turned out. Danny DeVito was brilliant with the story that was properly modernized while still remaining true to the novel. The movie plays like the modern fairy tale it is with stellar acting all-around and perfect story telling.
