Movie Review: Sexy and Fun

I don't understand some of the negative reviews here. I am not the biggest MC fan, but am familiar with her music, bought a couple of her CDs back in the early 90s, and always considered her voice phenomenal. I have owned this bluray for over a year and a half. I have watched it on several occasions, sometimes just to hear an up-tempo well staged concert with an artist I like. She sounds wonderful during this concert. She talks to the audience frequently but not annoyingly. There are many shots of the audience's reactions during her performances which I happen to find endearing and add to the feeling of being there for me. She does a very nice selection of her songs, some from the 90s and some from this decade. I love her tribute to Michael Jackson (this was filmed prior to his death) when she sings I'll Be There. There are a couple of guest performers including Boys To Men which all adds to this concert in a positive way. Her backup singers and band sound great too. She goes through many costume changes which keeps things interesting. Her backup dancers are fun to watch too. I really like this concert in blu-ray. I highly recommend this if you are even mildly a fan of her music over these many years.
