Movie Review: Mystery, NY, Jazz
Summary: 5 Stars
A loyal fan of Allen and Keaton (especially together). The setting is NY of course and the neuroses is on uber drive while the twisted mystery unravels before you. Alda and Huston were fantastic in their own rights. This comedy is one of my favorites by Allen and loved the soundtrack. This is one of my dvds that I continually watch.Movie Review: Allen and Keaton... a great reunion and some funny moments!

It was great to see the chemistry of Woody Allen and Diane Keaton in this comedy that truly has its moments of mystery and intrique! I also enjoyed Alan Alda's presence after his years with M.A.S.H. This really is a classic Woody Allen movie. Why? First, the chemistry between Woody and Diane Keaton is extraordinary. Second, the writing is impeccable. Third, it is nice to Woody with a woman his age rather than a woman in her early 20s. There is a great supporting cast as well, particularly Alan Alda and Anjelica Huston.Movie Review: Woody at his funniest!

My wife and I saw this movie in the theatre. We liked it so much we went to see it a second time in the theatre. Then we bought it on VHS. Now I bought it on DVD. This movie is very well written. The character developement is outstanding.
It's a true credit to Woody that I'm not sick of this movie.

Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are a dynamic duo. They make every feeling that their characters are experiencing in this film super funny, whether it's complacency, jealousy, cowardness, curiosity, braveness, foolishness, etc. I enjoy watching this movie several times a year.
