Movie Reviews of Man on WireMovie Review: I love documentaries! Just not this one. Summary: 2 Stars
Don't get me wrong, I love documentaries. I love film in general. I was really looking forward to viewing this, but it doesn't live up to the hype. The feat deserves 5 stars but the story is much more placid than the feat itself. Having the performer of the feat continue to go on and on and on about the most mundane information put my wife to sleep by the 30 minute mark. I stuck through the film, but could not wait for the end.
I don't want to discredit the feat itself, which is really amazing, but it was lost in translation to film.
