Movie Review: Fun for Military and Civilian

It was a movie I saw when I was very young, and enjoyed intensely. Seeing it again years later still brought out the same reaction: smiles and laughing for all those watching. Those with or without military experience can appreciate and sympathize with the characters, be it the discharged Major Payne, who struggles to adapt to civilian life after his participation and victory in Vietnam, or the formerly civilian boys who are getting their taste of the toughness of military life through an ROTC program. This movie is so funny that anyone with military experience that has a good sense of humor will absolutely love it! At several points in the movie I was laughing so hard that tears were flowing! My supervisor where I work is a retired Marine Gunny Sargent and he reminds me a lot of Major Payne (he's also a very likable guy and a good boss!). I highly recommed this movie to anyone who likes good clean satire and loves to laugh.Movie Review: Laugh tell you cry

I know this is an older movie but it's like owning Christmas Vacation and Earnest Goes to Jail, they are classics and Major Payne is well on to being right up there with the funniest movies I own. The story is great about how a hardcore soldier uses his expertise into whipping a bunch of misfits into shape or is it the other way around?
You'll love it at any age, trust me.

I Love this movie. It is really funny, and there are so many things said that are really easy to miss, and it just makes you want to watch it again. I feel that this is a great movie for anyone who works at any type of camp. I work at an all boys wilderness camp, and I wish we could use some of the methods that Payne uses in this movie. I personally found the movie Major Payne to be histerical in some scenes. The introduction scene where the major "meets the troups" is great material with excellent comedic value. The actors all provide a good support for wayans' " eddie murphy" style of comedy. With quick wit and great character acting, this is one comedy film you don't want to miss.
