Words cannot describe how wonderful this love story will make you feel. The story keeps you focused on the emotional aspect of the relationship while making you relive your own "love jones" experience. I love the movie, could watch it again, and again. The acting was simply marvelous. A must have for your DVD collection, but let us not forget to mention the great music CD to make this package complete !!!!Movie Review: the best

still one of the best movies that never made it to singapore. it is smart, it is sexy, very delicately filmed and spot-on casting. nia long and larenz tate were perfect in what should've been star making roles. watch this movie a few times and realise the tight references within the dialogue and the images. and it has one of, if not the best, r&b-accompanying soundtracks ever. definitely on my desert island list!Movie Review: A Poetic Masterpiece!

Depending on your level of maturity will define whether or not you grasped what this movie was saying. When that love jones gets you...you're hooked. No matter where you go or who you're with, once you've been gotten...it's for good. The poetic theme was refreshing and entertaining and Nia and Larenz's chemistry was right on time. what more can I say! That poem that Darius read for Nina. WOW!!!!! I still get chills from that! From the first time I saw that movie....it had me searching out black poetry spots to check out. Poetry like that digs into your soul....and doesn't let go. I can watch that movie over and over again! The store....the performances....everything was so......Mmm...Mmm...Mmm..... a MUST see!

This movie is a classic .....and anyone who doesn't like this movie is sleep ..... it's different, smart, and shows Black people in a much needed light....I can relate to these characters because not all Black people are the same .... this movie shows Blacks in an intellectual light that some people aren't even used too.... they need to make more movies like this one .......
