Movie Review: This movie was Good!!!!!!!

This movie right here it's tight.On the real though. It has it's downs like when they keep meeting up again, alcohol is alway's there. But besides that from what I got from the movie, is sayin that threw trials in a coulpes relationship they alway's end up together if they truly love each other. For coulpes or people looking for a real good love movie, Buy this, trust me you will like it!!!!!!. I dedicate this movie to a girl that I really love,"Someone Special" because our relationship may not been as in as in the movie but, we alway's seem to know and how to deal our situations we come back together and continue, "~*Yulaw*~". This is one of the best movies that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, it was not promoted the way that it should have been because not enough people know about it. This is truly a classic movie that reminds of the first time that I really felt a deep love for someone. I am older (although not significantly) than Larenz Tate, but I thought that he gave a stellar performance and was extremely sexy in this movie. Nia Long's performance was also great. They had great chemistry together. The supporting cast was very good and it showed that we, as Black people, can have many layers. This movie had reminded me of watching the old black and white movies with my dad. More true to life characters looking for love, being in love, and loosing it. Old story fresh view. Larenz Tate was so Cary Grant in style as the character may have been in a clumsey situation, but the actor kept him from looking silly and like a cardboard cut out.Nia Long has always been a favorite of mine she is sweet even whe she is tough, almost like a Kathrine Hepburn.
This is one of his best work and showing that he is better than always playing an angry black man.
Great movie an great performance bye all.....BUY THIS MOVIE!!!
Movie Review: Tastefully Sexy

This movie was a wonderful visual of love and relationships amongst a group of eclectic african-american intellectuals. THe main characters Darrius Lovehall(Larenz Tate) and Nina(Nia Long) were great together with a wonderful chemistry that allowed this movie to be its full potential. There is alot of honesty in this movie which makes it very relatable whether you are in these people's exact relationships or not. THere was an element of sexiness through out the movie and because alot of it involved romance that made for a very tasteful movie.
Great movie I would reccomend it to all of my friends

I absolutely loved this movie. Nia Long and Larenz Tate had an undeniable chemistry. Nia long did a superb job. If this movie had of been marketed better, I think it would have done better at the box office. It truly was a fantastic display of love, desire, and friendship. I wish Nia Long and Larenz Tate had received more recognition for their roles in this movie--they certainly deserved more than what they received. I hope new line cinema makes another movie starring these two actors. I know I would be the first one in line to see it and so would many other people.
