Movie Review: Greatest Show on Earth

I viewed a German import of this dvd and must say it is even more powerful than the lp that was released over 35 years ago. If anyone questions Lou's stature in the pantheon of rock and roll as an art form, this will convice them of his incredible importance in defining the genre as we now know it. Brilliant DVD. For anyone that is a Lou Reed fan, this is a must buy. He plays the masterpiece album, Berlin, perfectly and all around this is wonderfully done. I'm not going to go into any deep anaylsis of Berlin or it's creator Lou Reed. Let me just say this is the best rock and roll dvd I've seen in a long time (and I've seen a lot!). Do yourself a favor! Go get this one!
