Movie Review: American Version On DVD---FINALLY!!
Summary: 5 Stars
I'm really happy to see that this excellent American version of Sir Wm.'s book will soon be available on DVD!! When I was a kid the worst and best things that happened to me were, respectively: having to go to military school, and reading Sir Wm.'s book. This flick was made for me! And it is a terrific film through and through: music, actors, location, story,.... everything is PERFECT!! And I am just pickled stink! ....tickled pink. Now to see what the DVD looks like..... My male students LOVED this movie. As a high-school teacher for English foundations, I try my best to expose my students to the literature their peers in regular English classes receive. I must utilize movies as a visual aide supplement to help them connect with the characters, setting, dialogue... I strongly recommend using this dvd to support your curriculum to teach on all levels of student learning (auditory, kinesthetic, visual).Movie Review: A GREAT Film!

I saw this movie on television a little over a year ago and I absolutely loved it! It seriously spoke to me and it will have you on the edge of your seat.
I like it a lot more than the older version, just because it is more modern but it is the same story.
Great for all ages, and a wonderful display of anarchy in motion. Buy it! You will want to share it with others and watch it time and time again.
Movie Review: Another Good Cinematic Rendition

By now, you probably know the topic of the movie/ book, so I won't recap it. Suffice it to say, that it is a good color rendition of the book, this time the children being American kids rather than British kids. Frankly, from personal experience, I would have found the kids' viciousness more convincing if they had been Cuban or Arabic kids, but that's just me.Movie Review: Fantasic Film

I have loved this film for years, the book as well was a fantastic read the story all around is great. The first film of this story lacked obviously in quality nad in acting but the second was done with much better acting and played very nice. Tons of boys stranded on a island unfortunatly breeding into chaos. Would recommend this film for anyone.
