If you've only ever seen Logan's Run on TV, you simply *have* to get the DVD! After seeing it countless times on TV, I was amazed at what all had been edited out from the full movie. It all fits now SO much better, the robot in the freezing chamber, and several other bits that I'll not give away. :-) Great older sci-fi classic to be sure!
Movie Review: A jewel of a film

This is sooo 70's, it is soo cute, you MUST JUST LOVE it. I can't say else.
The dvd is a good one, double-sided with full screen (I hate full-screen) and wide screen (that's how this film is meant to be seen!!!), featurette and staff comment. What do you need more? Perhaps "Silent Running" but that's another story...

A great DVD! The commentary track and bonus featurette are a fantastic addition to this great sci-fi classic. Unfortunately, none of the footage tossed by MGM is available, so we will never see the 3 minute love shop scene! This is my personal favorite of classic 70's science fiction, buy it now!!Movie Review: One of the Best Sci-Fi Films of all time....

"Logan's Run" is an outdated film of our time, but you have to remember back in the 1970s, they didn't have computer animation. Anyway, I was engrossed by the story line, the characters, the acting, and of course, the visual effects. I now consider this film one of my favorites of all time.
