Movie Review: If you want to get your health back, read this book.

I really couldn't put this book down. I thought I would have to force myself to read it but NO. It is good and informative and really makes you understand how American diets are depleted and we are literally starving for nutritious food. We overeat to get those nutrients that are cooked out of raw food. Food is missing nutrients to begin with from soil depletion and then we cook, can or nuke them and wind up with virtually no nutritional value in our food. I now understand why I felt the way I felt and immediately began to feel the effects of a raw food diet within days if not one day. It takes time and it is not easy to switch after 64 years of eating one way, but 30 days and you are no longer hooked on food that is cooked to death, literally. Try your best not to slip back into your old ways because the reversal of feeling good leaves immediately and problems that were leaving rear their ugly heads by the next day. It takes several days to clear out your system after you binge on cooked food over a holiday weekend, for example. Even a few french fries from your friend's plate will set you back. It is so hard to resist but so worth it to feel those symptoms lift off of you. Alissa is a wonderful health coach. Get her companion video and it will really drive the point home to stay with it.
