Movie Reviews of Living Out LoudMovie Review: Funny, a slice of life for divorcees. Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is especially pertinent for someone who's husband has been unfaithful to them. There is both humor and sadness. The main characters are floundering somewhat throughout the movie, but find their way in the end. I found it to be very entertaining. Holly Hunter and Danny DeVito both gave wonderful performances.
Movie Review: I didn't know Queen Latifah could sing Summary: 5 Stars
She is terrific, what a voice. She should do a nice jazzy type album. I really liked this movie. Holly and DeVito are always good. Of course DeVito can really bring out the pathos in his character. But, Queen keeps getting better and better. I hope to see her in more of these types of movies.
Movie Review: An absolute classic with a touch of nostalgia!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was a masterpice that lacked the recognition that it deserved. This movie had everything that every blockbuster hit lacks:realism. This movie was about people and real life events that can occur to any of us. It was beautifully made and acted. A definite contemporary classic!!!!
Movie Review: Amazing. Summary: 5 Stars
I of course love Holly Hunter (The Piano) but after watching a couple of other movies she's in I got dissapointed. Not by her acting but by the horrible scripts. But this movie did not dissapoint. I loved it from beginning to end. Great acting, great script, great music. Wonderful! See it!
Movie Review: Great flick! Summary: 5 Stars
This movie did not get the audience it deserved. Holly Hunter shines like never before. Danny DeVito is a pleasant surprise as the guy who finally gets it right and Queen Lahtifa's role and her singing are magical. Do not miss this movie, the jazzy/blues mix of music alone is worth it.
