Movie Review: A small movie with a big heart
Summary: 5 Stars
Living Out Loud tells the story of two grown ups who try to deal with loneliness and it's impact on their emotional health . In contrast with most romantic dramas which come out these days , it has a very well-written script and two great leads . DeVitto's character is calm and open-minded while Hunter's is confused and unable to simplify her lovelife . Both of them deliver some wonderfull perfomances which should have been included in the Oscar nominations that year . The movie finally comes to the conclusion that maybe life is just a " moment's " issue . If you haven't had the chance to discover this great film take the risk to give 20 or 25 dollars to do so. You will be happy to discover this precious movie experience dezerves much more.Movie Review: Beautiful Filmmaking

I first saw this film in the theatre when it came out in 1998. I discovered Queen Latifah and her remarkable talent. I saw it last night again. It was even better. A brilliant performannce by Holly Hunter who is right up in the camera and never flinching. Danny DeVito shows a new dimension to his acting.
This is a bittersweet story of love, lonliness and ultimately moving on and finding hope. There is a film noir quality with most of the film taking place at night with the city and jazz as the backdrop.
Some of the best music (Queen Latifah opens with "Lush Life") and acting I've seen in a while. Despite the undertone of sadness, one can walk away from this film feeling hopeful and optomistic.

OK- let's say you've been married for a long time to a rich doctor. You gave up your dreams to be with him- instead you get the big house, and only dreams of having children, you know the drill. Then one day your high society walls come crashing down when you find out your hubby had an affair and his new younger lover is preggers- when he told you he didn't want kids! What next? Well- you go on girl! You meet interesting people and experience life! Queen Latifa rocks as a night club singer and Danny DeVito is equally as wonderful as a bumbbling romantic after Holly Hunters heart. You will say "you go girl!" Have fun watching this one... I am not going to attempt to imitate a movie critic. Instead, I will just say that this film is incredibly good, and makes you genuinely care about the characters in it. This is also the movie that made me like Danny DeVito - after many years of considering him nothing but annoying comic relief, I finally got to see him in something that shows his true talent portraying a full spectrum of emotion. Funny how just watching one movie can completely change ones' opinion. This is a must-see movie. If you are in love, you will appreciate your relationship more. If you are alone, this will give you hope, and show that you are not alone at all.Movie Review: Great vendor
