Movie Review: Tasty and Raw.....the best combination for a live Blues show (s)

I took a gamble and bought this...and LOVE it! Sue is a very cool fingerstyle blues player...a bit like Albert Collins but very unique as well.
Unlike others I like her voice...I think its a nice counterpoint to the heavier guitar to have a bit young , thinner voice. The standard Blues Belter boisterously bellowing just wears me out so I was relieved that her vocals weren't competing with the band. I really enjoyed the several instrumentals she played and thought the camera work was very fun and kept me in the heat of the action. The bonus concert is really terrific and the interview gave me a nice background on Sue. I just don't think you could ask for more...2 shows and an interview for under $20...that is good value. I have already purchased 2 of her CDs after viewing this and I'm hooked...a new favorite for me. I should say....I like her voice better than Susan Tedeschi and her guitar playing is waaaaay beyond Susan's. If you are a fan of hers I recommend very very highly , if you aren't ...well maybe you will fall for her like I did and be very happy to find this amazing artist!
