Movie Review: Wayans ...THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS!
Summary: 5 Stars
If you want a movie that has any form of serious, this isn't it. But, who would go to a movie like this expecting anything more then what it advertises to be? It's obvious concept alone is too stupid to believe. What baby look like that and with a full set of teeth? That is the first "oh please" moment of many. So I had decided that I wouldn't see this movie and went because it was a family outing and I like family time.
I am very glad I did. I actually had tears from laughing. I haven't laughed like that in a long time in a movie, it was great therepy. After I got the stick out of my butt about the entire concept and my expectations I actually enjoyed it.
There were alot of funny momement. Just seeing those fat little baby legs and baby duck butt was hilarious knowing he was a obvious grown man...hahhaah! (but I am one of the few who thought Howard the Duck was adorable) The baby clothes alone was worth a laugh. These people didn't know anything about Baby Gap for sure. I loved all of the secondary characters, it had variable cast and I think they did an excellent job moving the humor alone.
Ok I admit it, if you are one who think Woody Allen or the Three Stooges, or dry humor is better then obvious humor is the funniest thing you ever seen, you aren't going to like this at all. Even though they do fall back on some of the Three Stooges slapstick stuff, like the slapping and the 'when all else fail, kick a man in the crotch, for a laugh routine'. Warning: If you are crotch sensitive you may not like this movie either.
I would recommend this film more for the fans of Saturday Night Live, Living Colors, Mad...ect...
So go with an open mind, open heart, and the desire to believe in the unbelievable then you will be laughing your butt off.
