Movie Review: Lewis Black in all his glory
Summary: 5 Stars
I've seen reviews that have been so-so for this outstanding comic, considering that the DVD is edited, but it doesn't take away the glory of Lewis Black.This dvd is awesome! I laughed the whole way through and will continue to watch it forwards and backwards. Granted, the non-edited versions of his routines are the best, but thats why everyone should go out and buy his cd versions!
I give this dvd 5 stars: its everything I wanted to be. All the Lewis I didn't get on tape, and much more! Two thumbs up, Lew. You're still the man!
Movie Review: Political Commentary at Its Best

This is the first time I have gone to the trouble to review a product from Amazon and I have bought a lot of material here. Lewis Black expresses all the bipartisan frustration I feel over today's politics and gives me a chance to laugh about it. I don't care what side of this endless game our government plays that you cheer for (or bash), Black will have you nodding your head in agreement. I can't believe I only discovered this talented man a few months ago. I recommend anything he puts out. Be prepared for adult language.Movie Review: Hilarious!

This DVD is pure genius. Lewis Black is a true master of comedy. His witty perspectives on political issues combined with his "anger management problems" ensure that you'll be in stiches many times before the end of each performance.The DVD consits of all four stand-up specials as seen on Comedy Central (only the DVD is unedited). Each one has many, many lines that will make you chuckle even after the show is over.
In closing, this is a must buy for anyone who loves political humor, or just some funny stuff.
Movie Review: Laugh Out Load

As a South African citizen we see very little of American standup comedy. Until Lewis Balck was aired that is. It was not that Americanese that you could not thouroughly enjoy the content and topics. I find Lewis Black a scream and though the show is close (if not just over) two hours, never got bored.
The topics, though a bit older now, are still valid and still applies to today's situations and the like. Highly recommended in terms of content coverage, humour and monies paid. Get it now!
Movie Review: "It's corn that tastes like candy."

The main feature is Black's 3 Comedy Central Presents snipets, approx. 20 minutes each, from 1998, 2000, and 2002. The first is the funniest by far, but I like the other two as well. As I understand it, this is only a PG-rated sampling of Black's humor, so it's not very "unleashed," but I liked it anyway, and I thought it was very much worth the money. Sure, I could have sat around and taped it off of Comedy Central (they play these 3 segments once in awhile still), but for [the money], it's not a bad deal at all.
