All of us have felt like a born loser during times in our lives. Well folks, so does Richard Dreyfuss's character Trotter. He's a "loser" at the track. Always has been and always will be. Until that wonderful day, that "I'm having a Great Day" day.
Richard Dreyfuss, Terri Garr, David Johansen and of course Meg Tilley are just super.

what a bunch of characters they are but no one outshines Richard! The most fun you will ever have at the track. This is just a wonderful, upbeat, feel good movie. I have watched it many times.

This is the one that most people don't know about. So do a friend a favor and suggest it. It's funny, cleaver, has the greatest characters and is ok for the kids.
