As a pre-k teacher I am very unimpressed with this DVD and the others in this series. The instruction is SLOW and boring. The one cartoonish character in the series is ok, but doesn't play a big enough role. The teacher is overly methodical and BORING. Furthermore, the producers should have made the class of students more representative of most classrooms in America. I kept looking for any student that wasn't white, but never found one! Of course, I haven't made it past the first couple of lessons on any DVD because they were so boring. Perhaps the lessons get better, but I seriously doubt it!
