Movie Review: A Profound Experience...
Summary: 5 Stars
The only reason I came across this film was in a search for movies starring Angie Harmon (a prior obsession). From the reviews I read the story actually seemed interesting with the potential to be quite moving, so I decided to buy it.......and I've never been so moved and touched by a story in my life. I'm a 21 year old male who found himself brought to tears at this film's close.
I'm tempted to talk about specific parts of this movie but for those who haven't seen it, I can only suggest, in the most profound and well-intentioned way possible, that you take the time to find this movie and watch it for yourself.

Prejudice, hypocrisy and rationalising of immoral and violent behaviour are not merely American vices, but common symptoms of all of us living in so-called western civilization.
This film bitingly satirises such behaviour and reminds me that all of us come sadly short of our obligations to our fellow creatures.
Sam Rockwell and Mischa Barton, supported by a strong cast, bring this sad tale to life with great charm

I rented this movie a few years ago just out of curiosity, without any big expectations, and I was blown away by how touching and bold it was. Lawn Dogs is one of those rare movies that you think about days, weeks, months after viewing it. Of course I immediately bought the DVD and still watch it frequently. It's that good! I caught "Lawn Dogs" on TV by accident one evening and was quickly caught up in the story. The plot is somewhat offbeat and refreshingly unpredictable. Mischa Barton, the 10-year-old who plays "Devon", gives a stunning performance with confidence, charisma and passion. I predict a great future for her on screen and film.Movie Review: MUST SEE MOVIE!

While channel flipping on my day off, I ran into Lawn Dogs about 15 minutes into it. Something about the movie just grabbed me, and I couldn't stop watching and I'm glad I didn't. A deep story about rich vs. poor and a look on society. Some might feel a little uncomforatble with the movie. I recommend it to anyone with an open mind.
