Movie Review: THE BOUNTY HUNTER AND THE PRETTY ANTHROPOLOGIST'S AWESOME JOURNEY!
Summary: 5 Stars
I just love this movie! I highly recommend it! A definite must see movie! This has always been one of my favorite movies! It is about a handsome man who is a bounty hunter, who while tracking some escaped prisoners through the Montana wilderness, discovers a mystery with no answers, and then sees something in the wilderness, that he thought that, he would never see in his lifetime!
The escaped prisoners are found dead! Somebody has killed them for a reason! So the bounty hunter enlist the help of a anthropologist, who he thinks is a man, but he finds out that the anthropologist is a very pretty woman! Together, they go on a unforgettable journey to uncover, a mystery hidden in the Montana wilderness, there are places up there where no man has ever seen!
I loved the bounty hunters very smart dog, and I loved the chemisty between Tom Berenger (the bounty hunter),and Barbara Hershey(the anthropologist)! If you like modern day westerns with mystery and romance, and love awesome Indian history, and beautiful mountains and outdoor scenes, then this movie is just for you! My favorite scenes in the movie is when the bounty hunter kisses the pretty doctor WOW!AND DOUBLE WOW! And I loved the relationship between the handsome bounty hunter, and his wonderful dog! Outstanding, awesome, movie!
Summary of Last of the Dogmen
Despite an irritating, tacked-on voice-over narration that somebody must have thought was necessary to make sense of the story (it wasn't), Last of the Dogmen is actually a very moving and magical film. Tom Berenger plays a Montana bounty hunter who helps an anthropologist (Barbara Hershey) search for the descendants of a Cheyenne tribe who disappeared in the 1870s. What the two find in a remote mountain stretch is an entire community of Cheyenne who have kept themselves cut off from the modern world. A Dances with Wolves parallel emerges as the white outsiders gradually fit in, but Last of the Dogmen stands up just fine without comparison to any other films. As in Kevin Costner's Oscar-winning movie, however, there are ways in which this film captures a similar sense of yearning, mystery, and loss. --Tom KeoghAction & Adventure DVD Video
