This movie is Great. I used to watch the movie all the time. Watching the movie made me respect and honor the Latino Culture.Also, Richie Valens became my role model.
It gets me all the time when i watch the part in the movie when Bob, richie's older half brother, Is on the Bridge and then yells his name: also loved the music in it
Buy the movie, trust me, you'll love it.

Yes, I do scream out to my boyfriend the above words whenever I discover La Bamba is on TV. I've seen this move countless times, and I watch it EVERY single time it is on! It never gets boring. Great acting, great music, with a tragic story about a young musician. You'll laugh, you'll cry...you'll watch it again and again! Interesting insight into the music industry as well.
