Movie Review: Kramer vs. Kramer
Summary: 5 Stars
Still holds up. Brilliantly done tale of divorce - warts and all. Hoffman and Streep at the top of their games and a wonderful juvenile performance - as good as I've ever seen by a child actor. Robert Benton's script is terrific. I wasn't even married when this film first came out - now I'm divorced with kids of my own - and it hit me in a whole new way. Watched it with my 12 year old son - who's been through this himself and loved the movie. He went in thinking it was a comedy - quickly learned otherwise - but loved it.Movie Review: Kramer vs. Kramer

It's a good DVD. It doesn't have any special features or anything. I rate it 5 star because of the quality of the movie and the fact that I really appreciate the fact that they finally decided to bring it out on DVD.I've got about 30-40 movies that I want to own on DVD. But if I had to cut it down to 5, Kramer vs Kramer would still be one of them.

5 Stars! This is an amazing movie about love and divorce. Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman are outstanding in their Academy Award winning roles. Little Justin Henry and Jane Alexander are also great in Kramer vs. Kramer. All I can say is WOW. Although this movie was filmed many years ago, the theme and drama of it is still evident today. All young married couples w/children should and must see this story and learn from it. Acting is outstanding, but Justin Henry's performance has no comparison!
