Movie Reviews of Kraftwerk: Minimum-MaximumMovie Review: Excelent show !!! Summary: 5 Stars
Excelent music, excelent video at the Kratfwerk style. Sound is very good (stereo and DTS schemas). There are beatiful images in the DVD and as expected the Kraftwerk team has a behaviour as robots (almost stopped, generating sounds in the notebooks).
I hate electronic music generated by the DJs of today. For me is pure garbagge. This is electronic music, but created by who knows what to do, the pioneers of it, the masters.
Kraftwerk at best. Who loves electronic music needs this DVD. Run and buy this DVD (better 2 DVDs) !!!
Movie Review: High caliber production Summary: 5 Stars
Having seen animated images of Kraftwerk only but a handful of times in my life and having thoroughly enjoyed everything I ever heard from them (starting for me with the US Autobahn album in 1975), this DVD more than satisfies my expectations. The sound quality is second to none and the video production works well at 16:9 close up to a big screen TV. I'm glad to see this on the heels of the new material they came up with on the Tour de France Soundtracks collection. Thanks to them and may they please continue on.
Movie Review: Minimum-Maximum Kraftwerk Summary: 5 Stars
This DVD concert by Kraftwerk is excellent. They are what you would expect: very robotic. Very little body movement and very little live playing. They seem to be mixing the sequences that are pre-recorded on their controller keyboards. Very effective and innovative visual multi-media presentation offsets the lack of movement by them. I really enjoyed it.
Movie Review: Kraftwerk - Minimum-Maximum DVD Summary: 5 Stars
If you are a Kraftwerk fan you should buy this DVD of concert film live performances from Kraftwerk's 2004 tour. It is of excellent sound and video quality. The DVD conveys the live performance of Kraftwerk with a minimum use of effects (contrasted by the hyper, extremely frequent, and overused camera cuts and movement utilized in "Aero Dynamik/MTV").
Movie Review: Boing Boom Tschak Summary: 5 Stars
The sleeping giant that is Kraftwerk awoke a while ago and with the delivery of the "Tour De France" album and subsequent tour, the world once again witnessed the godfathers of electronic music.
The DVDs soundquality is superb and it is great fun to see the band closeup and enjoy all the slides and videos.
