Movie Review: Best movie adaptation!
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was an unexpected pleasure and really fun to watch!
Swayze does a great job as Quartermaine & Alison Doody is wonderful as the female lead. There are never annoying moments of disgusted "They'd never do that", or ridiculous temple-of-doom type comedy lines. The screenplay and plot were terrific, the adventure was compelling, and the entire movie was heartwarming. Villains were even well-wrought. Scenery was breathtaking.
Well done, highly recommended, and perfect for family viewing on a Sunday afternoon or early Saturday evening.

This movie is a made for tv show, but very well done in my opion.
This movie is kindda like a Indiana Jones movie.
Just about when you think the movie is over it take a left turn,
or you think they are going to die and they just slip away.
I have always been a fan of Patrick Swayzes ever since the "OUTSIDERS".
I have much respect for Patrick he's a man that plays in movies he wants to do, instead of doing movies just for the money.
In my opion thats a true actor.
I rate this movie a 9 from 1to10!!
Movie Review: TOP NOTCH VERSION OF THIS CLASSIC

I just rented this movie on the weekend. I didn't even know that it had been made/released. The only other version I have seen is the one with Richard Chamberlain/Sharon Stone, which was also excellent. This version really got to me and I think Patrick Swayze was perfect as Allan Quatermaine. The only criticism I have is for the writers of this movie and the other version (even League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) where they always refer to him as Allan Quartermaine when, if you have read the book, you know it should be Allan Quatermaine.Movie Review: King Solomon's Mines

I absolutley loved this movie I watch it all the time? Alot of my decision
about movies that I choose to watch is do to the actor? And I will say that
I am and will always be a fan of Patrick Swayze. Even tho he is no longer
with us, he is in memory.
I have watched King Solomon's Mines before but never with him in it? I like
the way the story is told? And the event's that occur in the movie. It is
just a great movie to watch. And I will continue to watch the movie.

I enjoyed this movie more than I expected to especially for the length of it. But not once did I feel like this movie was dragging or wow what a long movie. I thought for sure I would never make it thru to the end but I was wrong. It moved and kept me watching at a decent pace. I enjoy the Indy kind of movies and this one was really pretty good.
