Movie Review: Amazon's critic M. Fine should be fired!

King Kong '76 was one of my favorite movies as a child, when I saw it for the first time I tought it was phenomenal. Now as an adult I can see the movie has many flaws, mainly Jessica Lange's acting, but to be qualified as utter trash as Mr. Marshall describes it, it is just plainly unfair, this movie has many qualities: great cinematography, great music score, natural sets, an atmosphere that only 70's movies possesed and the monster itself while not great, is better than any CGI garbage. I prefer this movie a 1000 times than Peter Jackson's fiasco, he is one of the most overrated movie directors ever, that movie has bad acting all over and doesn't look real to me (I'm not a big fan of CGI). I think movie critics are biased most of the times and not objective, I think this movie deserves a chance to be seen.Movie Review: Not a bad remake of the '33 origional!

I was skeptical about buying this at first, but then I followed my instincts and bought it. Not bad!
STORY: Remake of the '33 original, People travel to an island to shoot a film, and come across many creatures. one of which being Kong, A giant ape, so they hunt this ape down, and bring it back to new york to give it the "8th wonder of the world" name.
THOUGHTS: Great! The end was sad, and I shed a tear. Plus, that girl was hot!
So do yourself a favour and pick up this awesome film!
Movie Review: Why is it badly reviewed, this is the BEST King Kong movie!!!

Ok so not many people enjoyed this movie strictly because of no dinosaurs and man in suit. Do people not realize this is set in 1975, wake up!!! The man in suit was my most faveourite part, it added more fun and kind of a bit of realism in it especially the eyes. This movie is atmospheric and the musical score is fantastic, this is the only Kong that actually scared me. It had it's cute moments too, I can't wait to see the extended version of this great movie.Movie Review: Kong and Jessica

Yes, I've seen the original. It's great. I think this version is great also because it didn't try to "ape" the original. It just tells the story of Kong in it's own way. Along the way providing good, campy entertainment.
Back then I had no idea who Jessica Lange was. But, wow, her beauty took my breath away. Fray Wray doesn't compare and neither does Naomi Watts in the new Kong.
Kong and Jessica are top notch.

I have read many reviews saying that this movie is really bad. What were they talking about?! I thought this was a great movie. Sure it's a little cheesy, but, I mean, it was made in the 70's! Just give it a chance. I thought it was good, maybe you will too.
