Movie Review: She Is A Great Comic! - Allegedly!

Kathy is one of the few comics who can make you feel like you are sitting on the couch in her home, feet up, relaxing...and dishing the dirt with your best friend!!! Her style of barbed humor, jabbing at all who would take themselves far too seriously is hilarious. All of those who get knocked off their pedestals by this very funny show can simply grow a sense of humor and relax. You know - rarely have I seen a piece of comedy that was so honest, direct, and scathing. Kathy tells it like it is (and tells all!).
I first saw this on Comedy Central in syndication and only caught about the last 20 minutes of it - but even that was enough to be compelled to search for it online and buy it.
I watched it 3 times in the first week and have insisted (forced) all of my friends to watch it. It is laugh-till-you-hurt funny!

Kathy Griffin - Allegedly is as to be expected, HILARIOUS. The stories and her delivery is what everyone has come to love about this comedian. The DVD contains a section called "Kathy's Home Movies" and features footage shot during her USO tour of Afganistan. I was really moved by Kathy's comments and the footage. It's what you won't see on CNN. What you will see is a comedian who's not only funny, but truly cares. Thank you Kathy, you are golden.Movie Review: D-List Diva!

Boy, would I love to meet Kathy Griffin! She had me laughing so hard while watching this DVD that I was in tears at times. LOVE it! And love her reality show, and love "The D-List", and love "Kathy Griffin is not...Nicole Kidman," and loved her on "Suddenly Susan"... "Allegedly" is great for anyone who likes to laugh at celebrities and other people who take themselves WAY too seriously. I look forward to her future shows!Movie Review: Hilarious!

Kathy Griffin is dishing the dirt and taking names, and not apologizing for it! This DVD was hilarious. She just doesn't care who's name she drags through the mud! I was laughing the whole time, and entertained throughout. She dishes about Brooke Shields wedding, her trip to Afganistan, Barbara Walters, Gweneth Paltrow, hosting the VH1 Red Carpet at their fashion awards in 2001, and more. Overall a really funny DVD.
