Movie Reviews of Josie and the PussycatsMovie Review: Josie? Summary: 5 Stars
I thought the movie was wonderful and the songs are even better than the movie...however Rachel Leigh Cook and friends seem to have taken credit for the songs on TRL and elsewhere and they DID NOT SING THOSE SONGS. Those songs were sung by the best vocalist ever to exist-Kay Hanley...formerly of Letters To Cleo. Dont let them fool you, its not there voice! Anyways, the movie is hilarous and the rock scenes are the best. Theyre pretty convincing that they can play there instruments...i reccomend it as one of my favorites.
Movie Review: Josie was a great movie to see with someone special to you. Summary: 5 Stars
Josie and the Pussycats was a very good film. It showed what should important to people... friendship. It's was also very hilarious. It's about a girl band who makes it big and discovers that there are subliminal tracks being put under their music. It's a great flm with a lot of laughs and I think almost everybody will enjoy it. Also to that 12 year old girl from Jamaica. It's "And you wanna know something Mel? puppies, turn into dogs, who grow old...AND DIE!" just making a little correction.
Movie Review: Funny, sweet, and purrfect Summary: 5 Stars
I had no doubts about this movie.I knew, before I saw it that I would love it.When I got home I opened the DVD up and watched it and fell in love with the movie. The movie was perfectly cast.Tara Ried was absolutly hilareous as Melody. The movie was funnily written. The DVD features are great.I loved the deleted scenes and don't see why they couldn't have left them in the film. All in all the movie is perfect when you want an evening of high laughs and a good time.
Movie Review: Josie and the Pussycats Rock! Summary: 5 Stars
I remember watching the Josie and the Pussycats cartoon when I was a little kid. I loved this movie and it's message. I thought that the clever placement of different products and brand names (like the Target theme in one of the rooms, Evian water at the aquarium, McDonalds stuff in the shower, etc) were very clever, sendinga subliminal message themsleves. Everyone should see this movie! The music in it was great also!
Movie Review: Oh, more coasters! Summary: 5 Stars
The reason I love this movie soooo much is because it's simply and funny. It's impossible not to laugh at the sweet dumb-blonde Melody (Tara Reid). I know that alot of people turn this movie down because they think it's stupid, but behind all the humor you actually learn something. Alexander Cabot said it best: "I'm not what I wear"! I highly recommend Josie and the Pussycats. Definitely two thumbs way up.
