Movie Reviews of Josie and the Pussycats

Movie Review: Very Underrated
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an extremely underrated movie. Albeit I only watched it the first time around for Rachael Leigh Cook, but was surprised to find it to be en extremely funny, enjoyable movie. From the frighteningly good portrayal of a boy band in the opening sequence to the catchy Josie tunes, the music will keep you in tune and laughing uproariously. Unfortunately I think many people that watched the movie didn't get the jokes from the DuJour's Backdoor lover song and the advertising being literally everywhere (keep in mind they did not earn a single cent for any of the product placement). Highly recommended.

Movie Review: Blank the critics
Summary: 5 Stars

Contrary to what I heard some critics say, I thought this was a great movie. It delivered an important message without getting so deep that it stopped being a comedy. Not to quote Brenden Frasier, but we have guys up in the offices running the industry and they don't know a ... thing about rock & role. This movie attached this real problem without really attaching it.

To many discisions are made by the pocket books of executives, and not enough by the talent. But if they get out of line, ... (a slight strech but after all, this is a comidy.)

This is a cute movie, and I'm glad I bought it.

Movie Review: A hilarious movie!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Josie and the Pussycats. It is one of absolute favorite movies-the acting is good and the music is good too! I laugh at all the jokes and I just love it more each time I watch it. It is a hilarious movie about three girls who make it into the mainstream music arena and there are evil people who are trying to brainwash kids through Josie and the Pussycats music. It all leads to a hilarious movie and a great time. If you like movies like Zoolander and Elf, Comedies that are just plain dumb then you will love this movie. As it is the same humor.

Movie Review: Months later, and still a good memory!
Summary: 5 Stars

OK, so I'm a mid-30's dad and I thought both me and my daughter could use a dose of girls with guitars. What I didn't expect was the riot of fun, great punk and freethinking satire found here that raises the film well beyond the kid-glop that us parents have to put up with. There are subtexts here that could be read several different ways, (which makes for some interesting philosophizing) but this is the meatiest piece of family entertainment in a long while. And the CD? A hundred listenings later on my kid's stereo and I still like it!

Movie Review: 1 of the funniest teen comedies since "She's All That"
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved this movie so much that when I got out of the theater, I almost went to see it again. If you liked either She's All That or SpiceWorld, then you have to see this movie. It has something for everyone like romance (girls), comedy (boys and girls) and hot girls (BOYS!!!).... The DVD features will be deleted scenes, audio commentary, music video(s), making-of-featurette, widescreen version, Dolby Digital 5.1 and more. I will not reveal the source where I got this information. Buy this movie, or at least rent it once. Worth seeing.
