Movie Review: Josie And The Pussycats, is LIKE, the BOMB !!! (*not*)

O - kay ... now that I have you all thoroughly *confused* by my Review Title [ is he endorsing the movie, or is he panning it ? ], I can specify: YES, I am Praising & Endorsing "Josie And The Pussycats" -- renting it and watching it with my Sister and her Daughter ( not to mention her two in-rapt-attention Sons ) was as much a delight and a Happy Time Trip to the early 70's ( egad, AM I _that_ old now ? ) for my Sis' as for me !! Oh yeah ... and just to _show_ you I'm a Good Old Dude with at the least, a Youthful Spirit, I recently bought the DVD !! Like, Grody to the Max !! And a *very* hip Father/Mother - Daughter // Boyfriend/Girlfriend film to take in together, may I add. Oh, I won't Spoiler the Fun for you ... lemme just say that Soup Du Jour turns sour in the baddies stomach at the end !! Now, sing along w/ me ... "Jo-see an' da pussy katz ... <S>Movie Review: ORDER THIS!

Wassup, America?! First of all, this movie rocks. I am male, but I love it. NOT JUST A CHICK FLICK! GUYS LIKE IT TOO! Good choice for everyone who likes movies of this genre. I don't own the DvD. I taped this on the STARZ channel one night while they were having a free preview weekend thingy. I gotta buy this in the next year. The actresses that play the Pussycats (Rachel Leigh Cook, Rosario Dawson, Tara Reid) have been in some other great movies. Rachel was in She's All That with Freddie Prinze Jr. Rosario Dawson was in Men in Black 2 (another awesome flick; I got the dvd for christmas). Tara Reid was in three of the BEST MOVIES EVER MADE! American Pie, American Pie 2, and Van Wilder! I love all those. If you like teen movies, the Pussycats are right for you! PEACE OUT!

Movie Review: Surprizingly clever movie

I went to this movie expecting nothing more than to watch Rachel Leigh Cook (Josie) and Tara Ried (Mel) dance around on stage in skimpy outfits. Imagine my surprise one of the funniest opening scenes I have ever seen! From the boy band named "Du Jour" (I guarantee my roommate and I were the only 2 people in the entire theatre filled with 13 year old girls who got that joke) and their hit single "Backdoor Lover" to the rediculous product placements and government conspiracy to put subliminal messages and advertisements in our music, thereby controlling trends and keeping teenagers buying the next best thing. Younger viewers who don't necissarily get the humor will enjoy the music and the unbelieveable plotline and love story while older viewers will enjoy the hilarious and almost plausible hyperbole of the conspiracy.Movie Review: FUN!

Josie & The pussycats are a rock girl group with 3 members josie (rachel leigh cook) Val (Roserio Dawson) and Mel (Tara Reid) they've always dreamt to be famous with no.1 hit and their dream really came true but not in the normal way.when they were annonymous there was this boyband DuJour who everyone adored and they had this smashing single Backdoor Lover and 1 day they ask their manger wyatt (Alan Cumming) what was the noises they hear on their single and wyatt escapes from the plane and the plane crashes down so no1 will find the conspircy and he goes on searching another band and he found 1 josie and the pussycats wyatt and fiona(parker posey)are planting in josie's songs messages that will brainwashed the teenagers to buy all the stuff the rest I won't tell you GO SEE IT!
