Movie Review: VERY underrated comedy, just hilarious!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
Critics panned this movie. That's why I rarely listen to critics. Everyone I have ever watched this movie with absolutely rolled in the floor with laughter. It is hilarious. If you love Mel Brooks type of comedy combined with a little SNL, ... this is for you.
In my opinion, this is one of the funniest movies I have seen. I am buying it on DVD so I can share it with my kids.

I bought it on DVD to replace a VHS copy. a Romp about gang crime in New York during the depression. with few exceptions it is an all-star cast. You know you're in for a funny one when one of the opening scenes is of Maureen Stapleton, and in an Irish accent she says "The lower east side......This really sucks".Movie Review: Fargin Classic!

Best mafia spoof movie made yet. Michael Keaton plays comedy very well in this role. It's relatively clean-cut with sexual innuendos scattered throughout, but too subtle for children to even notice. The duel with Roman Maroni and his constant assault on the English language is hilarious. Definite addition to anyone with a sense of humor..Movie Review: One of the all time best comedies of all time!

Sometimes the critics need to let go of their intellectual snobbery and just go with comedic timing. The entire cast of this film works well together, the jokes are funny and some people have been using quotes from this movie for twenty years. That's got to count for something.So go out and buy this movie, you farging iceholes.

An excellent get-away-from-violence type of movie. There is some violence but compared to what we see on TV, this is nothing. It was shot to look like a 30's movie but the humor is modern. I would not have a problem watching this with my nieces and nephews of any age. We love to watch it when there is no intelligence on TV.
