Movie Review: A Happy Performance
Summary: 5 Stars
This live performance is one of the best versions I have seen. The cast is excellent and its members are really into their roles. The second act finale shows them really enjoying themselves as they get involved, with the VSO ballet members, dancing the final waltz. They are not just opera singers performing. It is a treat to see the great Erich Kunz in one of his last roles. The performance is in a traditional staging. Highest recommendation.
