Movie Review: Joe's Best Band Yet
Summary: 5 Stars
Joe rips it up with another live DVD with a slightly different band. Excellent move to add Dave LaRue to the lineup! I met Dave once back when he was playing with the Steve Morse Band and the Dixie Dregs. I have to say that he is one of the very best bass players in rock. It only adds to the genuis of Joe's playing. I didn't find too much wrong with this DVD, I merely enjoyed the show. You don't find that many artists of this calibre offering up this kind of stuff - so why complain? It's in Hi-Def!Movie Review: Fantastic

As a long time fan of Satch, I very much enjoy this DVD. Picture quality is great, and sound quality is nothing less than superb. I found the camera work to be fine, as I don't need to see every note being played. There are plenty of up close shots of Joe's outstanding axmanship, and I like to see the other players as well. After seeing this show on HDNet, it was a must have for me. Being an avid fan of the Derek Trucks Band, Eric Clapton and so many others, and having heard little Satriani on FM stations, or any place else for that matter, I now have another fenomonal guitarist to add to my enjoyment. Although the DVD is'nt HD, the clarity and audio are supurb! On the Amazon note, thanks for the speedy delivery (even though it was free!).Movie Review: Best Satch dvd so far.

This is a must-have dvd for every musician, not only guitarists. Satriani couldn't have released a better performance on dvd. Amazing performances by Joe, Dave La Rue Jeff and Galen. Really satisfied.
I have to agree with some other reviews that although image quality is excellent, camera rotation is somehow annoying. Anyway, as I stated before, it is the best Satriani dvd I've seen so far.

This is the cream of the crop when it comes to Satch DVD's. The picture quality and sound are top notch and the music as a whole is everything I wanted this video to be. Get it...you'll see why Joe Satriani is THE Best that there is.
