Movie Review: dark, VERY dark! And yet...
Summary: 5 Stars
Jin-roh is dark, VERY dark! And yet...the thread of finding love is always there in the background of this very surreal and tragic tale. The Red Riding-hood fairy tale is eerily told throughout the movie as a comparison to the relationship that develops between the main character Constable Fuse and the terrorist girl Kei. The music is beautifully and emotionally haunting, and I wish there'd been more of it. There isn't a whole lot more I can add to what others have already posted. From the opening sequence, and right through to the tragic (if not quite unexpected?) ending and the music during the closing credits...this is one animated movie that should be seen to be appreciated!!!
