Movie Reviews of Jimmy Eat WorldMovie Review: Worth checking out for any fan Summary: 5 Stars
Although not a full-length DVD, the JimmyEatWorld DVD EP delivers more than enough bang for your buck. The DVD sells for less than ten dollars at most places and includes 3 music videos, all coming from their latest and most successful album "Bleed American" (aka "self-titled," changed after September 11th). "The Middle" is a pretty good video, even if it's been played about a million times and the song is just a little more than annoying by now. "Bleed American" is an excellent performance video and is the first video from the album. "Sweetness" is the latest video, and probably the best of the three. It's a performance video combined with some trippy graphics and odd images. The live video "Get It Faster" comes from the full-length DVD which comes out later this year (you might have seen this performance air on MTV last summer). The audio section is nice, although I wish they could come up with a way so that you could listen to it like a CD. You get live versions of "For Me This Is Heaven," "Bleed American," and "Authority Song." And as if that's not enough, you also get a cover of Wham's "Last Christmas." All in all, if you are a JimmyEatWorld fan, you should definetly pick this up. It is definetly worth the money.
