Movie Review: Kaleidoscopic Mind...

May 29th & 30th, 1970 Berkeley Cali. both around 10 pm,
where both gonna be become to be the best two shows (in my opinon) that Jimi Hendrix ever played.What else hasnt been said about this man.single handly changed the way guitar was played.Other shows like Monterey and the Band Of Gypsys shows are out of-worldry.I also thought buddy miles's singing was a bit annoying,and also that Woodstock is overated.but its these two shows ladies and gentelmen
that show why Hendrix deserves the respect that many dont give to him.Hear My Train Comin' in the first show is the best live performance by Jimi Hendrix. I also admire very much the Band Of Gypsys concert.To this I conclude that

Movie Review: FINALLY JIMI PLAYS BERKLEY ON DVD

This DVD is a favorite not just to me but alot of people out there Hendrix fans mostly. I ordered this DVD from amazon and recieved it a few days latter. I loved the DVD I mean of course it was just like the orginal JIMI PLAYS BERKLEY but the sound quality was unbelieveable. JIMI PLAYS BERKLEY was never released on DVD until now the music is so vibrant this is a must have for you Hendrix fans (including me). The bonus features are all audio but the thing that brings this DVD to 5 stars is not just the music but The booklet which gives you an inside on the filmmakers and the story behind JIMI PLAYS BERKLEY +plus very rare photos in the booklet hope you Review: somebody help meeeeeSummary: 5 Stars People will complain about anything but I dont care what they say about the editing...the camera people were most likely high anyway which was the thing then. everybody was havin a good time, the audience, jimi, etc. just enjoy the damned dvd. anything with jimi hendrix in it is beautiful & sexy to me. he wasnt chewing gum in this one; some people complain about that but i dont care if he was chewing on a shoe string, as long as I can watch him in action!! the way he played voodoo chile and johnny b goode made me want to be a guitar in my next life if i can be handled like that and there is such a thing as reincarnation. anyhow, buy the dvd.you won't regret it.

i got this dvd first before i got any other ones of his and all i had heard was the "are you experianced?" album wich i loved so i thought why not give this a try because i really wanted to see him live, since i wasnt born when he died. but this was very good i really liked it from the get-go, the only downpoint is that the actual concert footage isnt the complete set list which is included on the cd that comes with this.its still good, plus its by hendrix, that just makes it even better to see him workin his magic on the unsuspecting crowd.very good, buy it and see how modern day music as we know it started!!Movie Review: The Best

I have Berkeley on tape. I loved it I can't get enough of it. Jimi had Billy Cox with him and Mitch Mitchel. He played Johnny B. Goode. And let me tell you it was just as good as Chuck Berry. He also played the Star Spangled Banner and went right into Purple Haze just like at Woodstock. And not to mention he played the guitar with his teeth. Voodoo Child(Sligth Return) and Hear My Train A Coming was featured on this film and it sounded nice. If you see this film you won't be disappointed and it won't be a waste of money. The first time I saw it on the trio channel I had to tape when it came on again.
