Movie Review: Great Performance

I don't know other pianist who had recorded the Chopin's ballades in DVD, neither I have never heard about Rose. If fact, here we have a very good concert including this pieces plus the sonatas 2 and 3.
The film is simple and the image as a whole is good (not excellent). In addition, the photograph is excellent, with several angles and hand images overlapping. The focus is the keyboard and it appears all the time. The angles that catch the hands are very, very good. To study technique this product is very superior comparing to most of similar ones.
The sound is great. He is using a Yamaha piano. All notes are very clear and the interpretation is powerful and romantic. The applause was cut and it appears only at the beginning of the concert, at the end of the four ballades and at the end of the concert. The public was never showed. As bonus you have an interview without subtitles.
