Movie Review: Not your average gay movie
Summary: 5 Stars
Jeffrey is a fun movie following the trials of the main character Jeffrey. Set in the 80's with the spectre of AIDS over the community Jeffrey swears off sex. Very much akin to the '40 Days and 40 Nights' plot. However no sooner has he sworn off sex then into his life comes Steve who not only is a 'dreamboat' but is HIV+ as well.
Interestingly this movie is one of the few that breaks the '4th wall' where the characters will interact with the audience.
Patrick Stewart is a very camp interior decorator and is wonderful, and the rest of the cast is filled with some very familiar faces like Signorney Weaver, Micheal Wiess.
The pace of the movie is good, and I thought it was the right length to get the story across.
Movie Review: MY FAVORITE (...)MOVIE
Summary: 5 Stars
If I ever made a film - I would make it like this(or William Shakespeare`s Romeo+Juliet). The director spices the film with hysterical funny situations, 1-liners, symbolysm, characters and MTV-editing that NEVER overstays its welcome.
The film should be in EVERY home and is a tribute to love. I especially like the scene in which Sigourney Weaver declares: "Why was there a Hitler? Why are these socks acrylic? IT`S THE ABSENCE OF LOVE!!!!!
Indeed she was right. Now u dear reader - SEE THIS film and don`t forget - it`s on my BEST 20 LIST:-)
Movie Review: Satisfactorily Exceptional

This DVD came still in it's original seal. The contents were not labeled on the outside for consumers protection. The movie is just as good as if it had been purchased in a high end retail store, with the added convenience of shopping from home and delivered to me. I noticed someone gave it a fantacy "tag." I do not agree, the movie's story line, while it may be someones fantacy, it should not have to be only that. It can be reality! It is a reality in some parts of western Europe.Movie Review: JEFFREY

I had this movie on videotape forever and when I went to watch it the last time, the tape had warped or whatever. Luckily, I found a dvd copy available on Amazon, sent for it, and was able to watch it again in perfect condition. One of the funniest gay/lesbian movies ever! This DVD arrived in excellent condition. It is the endearing story of one man's struggle to find the freedom in his heart to love again in the hayday of the AIDS epidemic. A wonderful cast of charming and endearing characters makes this a great and enlightening family film.
