Movie Review: Not as good as the original!!
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie wasn't the original, Spielberg's Original JAWS is still the best.
It's looks more realistic & more graphical.
The original had a better plot and a better line up of actors.
In part 2 it didn't show anyone being eatin like in the original.
I would say it's good for a sequel, I guess it was a good change of pace.
This shark looks like one of the baby sharks from the original shark, It just didn't seem to be as big.
Plus the ending to this one wasn't near the ending of the original.
Now if you watch it without comparing it to the first "JAWS" you will
enjoy this movie better.
It is no doubt worth watching, especially before you go swimming again at the beach.
I rate this DVD a 8 from 1to10!!
Movie Review: As good as the original and the best of the JAWS sequel movies

I just taped this on TV with my brother and I have to say I love this movie. I understand that is was not directed by Steven Spielberg but, I say it is still as good as the original Jaws. From the beginning at the remains of the Orca to the end with Martin Broody swimming back to shore with his son and the other teenage sailboaters. This movie was a great thrill ride and I do plan to buy this DVD.
My personal rating of the first two Jaws movies:
JAWS 1 / Five Stars : The best of the series.
JAWS 2 / Five Stars : As good as the first.
Overall, I really like the first two Jaws movies.
P.S. Stay away from Jaws 3 and 4, becuese they suck big time!
Movie Review: Better than the original

I watched this on video today and I really do think it is better than all the JAWS movies. I ordered a DVD of it today as it sold out here in Australia when it was released and left the others on the shelf which cannot be sold. The shark sequences are more exciting even though the shark sometimes looks rubbery. The idea of casting a group of sailboating teenagers was a very good and smart move. May be far fetched at times but hey come on these films are fun. Suspense and screams abound in this worthy but underated sequel. This is where the JAWS saga should have stopped . The 3rd instalment was laughable and the 4th one an absolute embarressment . A growling shark with a vendetta? Please!!!!!Movie Review: Equal greatness

I am a fan of the "Jaws" series (with the exception of Jaws: The Revenge") and all I can say is "Jaws 2" deserves equal greatness with the original. Although it may not live up to the original (some people say so) it is still excellent to watch over and over again. I liked Chief Martin Brody (once again played by Roy Scheider) in this film because his acting is untouchable. Although this film lacks the greatness of director Steven Spielberg, director Jeannot Swarc did a great job as well. For those who are fans of the franchise, I recommend this to you. Jaws 2 is a very great movie!I thought it was way better than the first one.One reason Fort Walden,Florida is a much better place to shoot a Jaws film than Martha's Veinyard.It actually has waves in this film!It has way more action,it shows the shark alot more on this film,it also has the shark swimming around instead of just showing barrels floating around the surface,which is a better thing to do.It has way better music too.John Williams has the signature music & some new music that is really impressive.Buy this movie you won't be dissapointed!
