Movie Review: Wonders of Mythology
Summary: 5 Stars
Jason and the Argonauts brings back memories of our childhood,when we studied all these adventures in school.Visualizing the heros of the times, with the actors of the day.
Did Hercules,Achilles,Hera,Aphrodite,Zeus really exist? Well it seems that they were a part of old history.
In this movie you see the titans, the monsters,beauty,ugliness and adventure all in one. It is different from the old version of the DVD,still wonderful to look at. Enjoy the DVD and you will understand why so many people like it.In other words it is a collectible. I have both versions and love it.
Movie Review: Great action from the stone age of special effects!

Holy cow, I can hardly believe special effects from the 60s can be as good as the FX in this movie, but I guess seeing is believing. Great acting, a really cool Hercules, unbelievably cute chicks, and awesome fight scenes. Ray Harryhausen did an unbelievable job of making the stop-action look real and terrifying. He even gave Talos and the skeleton warriors their own personalities. The stop-action in this movie easily stands up to the plastic-looking CGI of today. An excellent film for adults and children!

Movie Review: Classroom lesson Mythology

Excellent movie! While 6th grade students enjoyed the mythology lesson they were completely spellbound by the Sci-fi effects--laughing and clapping at the skeleton battle...cheering for the winner! This from a generation that has grown up with Harry Potter and Transformers. I highly recommend this movie. It is pure entertainment and has created a new interest in my students for movies that were filmed in the 60's. Special effects are excellent!Movie Review: Classic Old-time fantasy

Just a great story with special effects wizardry (Ray Harryhausen) that even today the myth comes alive. Also Known as "Jason and the Golden Fleece."
I remembered this from my childhood and wanted to share it with my kids. It was a big hit with both my 7 and 14 year olds even in this age of video games and Matrix/Star Wars effects.
This one is better than Clash of the Titans which is also a very good film.
Movie Review: Then and now
Summary: 5 Stars
Back in the days of drive in movies, when we were kids, we watched this film and it was thrilling. We also ordered the Clash of the Titans. Both were good entertainment and a step back to our younger days and still a bit thrilling. We were able to share some of those memeories with the kids as they watched the movies. All of us enjoyed it. It made for a great weekend movie.
Amazons delivery was very efficient.
