Movie Review: Jane Eyre BBC
Summary: 5 Stars
Absolutley amazing. This is currently showing on PBS right now. If your a fan of anything BBC, you will love this. Very well done. Acting is great. If you like the BBC's Pride and Prejudice, North + South, Our Mutual Friend, ect... You will love this. There are many scenes that go beyond what is in the book. While the basics of the book are the same, there are some liberties taken. For example there is an actual gypsy, instead of Mr.Rochester being the gypsy (he hides behind a screen to hear everyones conversations). And there are much more scenes brought to life, that could only be implied in the book. We see a much more visually stimulating ending (while Rochester is blind, he has not lost an eye)and there is alot more romantic embracing and kissing. Overall, you get what you want at the end of the movie. A Happy Ending.
