Movie Reviews of Jackie Chan's Who Am I?

Movie Review: Bad acting Excellent action
Summary: 5 Stars

As the action in Jackie Chan movies goes this one is top notch! The acting could have been better done with a high school drama club with stage fright. Jackies acting is fine, his supporting cast needs some remedial acting lessons. Jackie plays a mercenary with amnesia. A literal globe trotting adventure this movie takes Jackie from Africa to the streets of Rotterdam.

The action is intense with Jackie taking on hoards of bumbling East German strong men. The escape with handcuffs is good, the wooden shoes better, and the finale is to die for. A 2 on 1 that needs to be seen to be believed. A long scene, remeniscient of Jackies old kung-fu flicks rather then a modern street fight.

If you are a fan of The Man, then this movie is for you. Good bang for the bucks!

Movie Review: Great flick.The Review...
Summary: 5 Stars

The rise in Jackie Chan's American career was boosted way up by this great hit! It stars Jackie Chan, as Jackie Chan, a secret agent who after being traded on, falls from a helicopter and loses his memory. He along with a few people he meets along the way, must avoid corrupt CIA agents and save the day. As promised in all of Jackie Chan's films, Action is throughly delivered in this film, with an ending on a building that you will Never forget! The funny thing about this film is that the actors speak English, but after re-dubbing it for Mandarin, China, and the like, the voices are about a second off! Who Am I? gives a not stop, heart pounding two hours.

Not bad at all. I would suggest it. A must for Jackie Chan film fans!

Movie Review: WOW!! The real Chan returns! Better than Rush Hour!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Fantastic car stunts! Hilarious wooden shoe fight scene! The incredible escape from the police delivers with equal parts flexibility, force, and ferocity. Nice balance with the female actresses, especially Yuki the rally driver. All of the Chan trademarks--stunts on the very edge; action; self-deprecating humor; action; outtakes; action; sense of responsibility, ethics, honor, and morality; and, oh, did I mention action?!?

I appreciate Rush Hour for increasing Chan's exposure in the U.S., but Rush Hour comes across as almost flat after seeing Who Am I. If you purchase only one of Chan's recent movies, skip Rush Hour and buy Who Am I? or Supercop! More Chan excitement for your $$$!!

Movie Review: highly recommended
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie has everything we expect in a Jackie Chan flick, including plenty of bad guys for Jackie to fight (some are clearly great martial artists themselves, not just actors, as mentioned by other reviewers), pretty girls that Jackie must save, death defying stunts, chase scenes, guns, explosions, and plenty of humor. Two thumbs up! Regarding the dvd format, the one I saw in store had widescreen on one side and full screen on the other. (I own it on vhs myself and am considering upgrading to the dvd.) Some of you parents might also like to know this one has no nudity.

Movie Review: WHo Am I Is great ---with so much of humour and action.....
Summary: 5 Stars

In the this world there are so many different types of movies.....of all the movies, Hollywood movies and movies made is Hong Kong are the best.... Of all the movies, Hindi movies ( Indian made movies are the worst),,,they don't know how to make real life movies...all they do is sing, dance, play and cry....I can't believe Indian (HIndustanis) are still making hell lot of childish....boring (min 3hrs+) movies....hahaha. I guess they finish making these junks in a week.

JC should receive great honour..for all his roles in the the best JC
