On the whole, this film is a bit lacking for a Jackie Chan film. I read there is a much longer version, not available in America? That might have helped, because the movie comes off as painfully short, more like a TV pilot than a full-length feature. And that time is not entirely well-spent. However, this film is home to the ladder-fight scene, which, it is true, is one of the most impressive combat scenes yet seen in a Jackie Chan movie. Worth it just for that, the shark tank fight and a few other quickies were entertaining as well.Movie Review: Weird Eh?

I must admit, I've seen this movie about five times and I still have a slightly difficult time keeping up. It jumps from place to place, and there are about 8 twists, which come and go without warning. Not to mention that the ending is INCREDIBLY lame and there is only one (great) fight scene. The most memorable thing for me in this film is the North Face outdoor suit (in glaring yellow and black) that Jackie ends up accidentally wearing for most of the film. I am sure that sounds superficial, but while I have seen this film twice, I found little in it to rival either the older and cheaper Hong Kong made Chan films, or the slightly bigger budget "Jackie in America" films. I am an Australian, and that may affect my perception of the exotic locales. Frankly it was unconvincing. But please, come ski our fabulous mountains anyway.
