Movie Review: HORRIBLE AS 5 Stars
MAN! This movie creeps the hell of me!!!Of course! like most of the horror movies, is low budget! BUT is still a good film! I mean... The picture quality is VERY clear, the "baby monster" desing was VERY CREEPY (I don't understand why most people don't see it that way), the sound quality was good and the acting was also good but don't expect an oscar-winning acting.
The reason that this movie is HORRIBLE is that the concept is very scary! I mean... This baby is an UGLY one with fangs, claws and horrible baby wails! eww!, when the baby or monster come out of his mother he kills every doctor on the room! and then while his parents are suffering he is out in the town killing everyone he sees by CHEWING THEM!! OH MY GOD!! The movie is also VERY BLOODY! (specially the milkman scene), the corpes that the baby left are chewed and all cover with BLOOD!! HAHAHA!! There are a lots of killings on this movie so be prepared to enjoy some dead fest! HAHAHA!!
P.S: The ONLY thing that I didn't like was that the gory scenes were so fast that you could hardly see the killings, but is still BLOODY and SICK as hell!

Movie Review: Baby Baby Don't Get Hooked In Me...
Summary: 5 Stars
Frank and Lenore Davis (John Ryan and Sharon Farrell) decided to go ahead and have a second child. Uh-Oh! Little baby Davis (at a whopping 11-12 pounds) enters the world with a bit of a bang, slaughtering the roomful of doctors and nurses unlucky enough to witness it's arrival! Now on the loose, the cuddly mutant proceeds to attack anyone who gets too close. The famous milkman scene is a grabber. Just watch as the poor milkman is pulled through the back of his truck like a log in a mulcher (with only a minimal amount of gore, as it's mostly in our heads)! Soon, the entire LA police force is on the trail of our bouncing baby beasty. Lenore goes a bit nutty (who wouldn't?), while Frank grows increasingly hardened toward the whole bloody mess. Of course, the drug company that fears they may have been the cause of baby Davis' condition want it destroyed, in order to avoid any implications. Frank is horrified to find that Lenore has let junior in the house and fed it a freezer-ful of food! This leads to the climax in the Los Angeles sewer system. IT'S ALIVE is Larry Cohen's masterwork of horror and satire. A halloween must! Highly recommended...Movie Review: The commercial for this one scared me to death when I was young

This is yet another movie from my childhood that I found and had to buy. It scared me then,but now it looks even better.
"There's only one thing wrong with the Davis baby........"IT'S ALIVE!!"
With those words still ringing in my ears this unfolds as a great horror story with much heart and pathos as the Davis baby proves to be MORE THAN A HANDFUL(the delivery room scene is not for the faint of heart). What sets this apart form other movies is the time it gives you to know all the characters and the fact that you feel for the "It" baby as well as the people. I really liked how the terror of the father turned to love for the little "tike" as the movie went along. Great fun and worth a look.

IT'S ALIVE! This movie put Larry Cohen on the map(well,the HORROR
map that is) this is about the birth of a killer mutant infant
who terrorizes Los Angeles. The storyline is handled with commendably
straight faces and John Ryan does give it his all! This has GREAT
music by none other then Bernard Herrmann who did PSYCHO and
Brian DePalma's SISTERS. Also the It's Alive baby is done by Rick
american werewolf Baker. Please give this 74 movie a try on which
I quote Tarantino...This movie is hilariously wicked! Trust me
this is the HORROR movie to powder your bottoms right.

its alive is a cool romp of a flick . keep in mind it came out in the early 70's, so if you are looking for over the top special effects and green screen animation then dont bother. people who choose to use a little imagination and think for themselves will not need to see the baby in full glory and will apreciate the films style. interesting facts about this movie. for a "B" movie, when it was released, it was #1 at the box office for 3 weeks in a row and it was the 2nd highest grossing film ever for warner bros. up to that time. enjoy it!
