Movie Review: A GREAT OLD SCHOOL FLICK
Summary: 5 Stars

now with all this talent in this movie how can a director, a producer, and choreographer go wrong and they dont but the video asia release has a flaw. the chapter selection feature is all screwed up and the insta action isnt quite accurate ither. but video asia did manage to release to uncut version which is an hour and forty minutes compare to the other past releases who give us an hour and twenty five minutes or so but anyway this flick stars the legendary megakickers john liu and wong jang lee. other talented wonders include yuen biao, lee hoi sang, philip ko fei, corey yuen, tino wong, sonny yuen shun yi, tyrone hsu hsia, wong chi sang, ching kuo chung, and the yuens choreograph the action so it well equipped. this is an adventure action flick so that explains why it is 1 hour 40 minutes long in the original cut. for a movie made in 1977 this has great action this version is definite pick up but bare in mind like i said this is videoasia and it has its flaws and you gotta ask yourself this videoasia release is too good to be true well not exactly just the chapter selection that messed up the flow.

Movie Review: The Best I've Seen In The Genre
Summary: 5 Stars

Invincible Armor is packed with excellent action scenes and humorously dubbed dialogue. The main star is an amazing athlete. He can hold a pot above his head with his arm fully extended straight in the air, then shatter the pot with a kick that is as high as his own out stretched hand. With other gung fu movies, I have found myself fast-forwarding through talking parts to get to the fight scenes, which are few and far between. This movie, however, is good throughout and both the talking and action scenes are entertaining. It has a more intricate plot than most karate films. If you like action movies set in feudal China/Japan where they talk of honor, venerate elders, grow their eyebrows really bushy, jump 15 feet in the air, perform "1 inch punches," read gung fu technique manuals, train in isolation, and fight to the death, you will love Invincible Armor!

Movie Review: BETTER THAN THE XENON GROUP VERSION
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, I don't get what this idiot kung fu kid is talking
about! This is probably the best Invincible Armour release ever!
But of course what do I know!? First off this Video Asia version
of the movie is uncut! YES, UNCUT! 101 minutes (though on the
back it says 90 minutes but that's not true)! While the Wu Tang
version (by Xenon) is cut down to 90 minutes just becuz they are
retards! And plus the picture (by Xenon) has lots of scratches
and crap and in fullscreen! The Video Asia version has good
picture and in widescreen so you get to see all the fights in
perfect view! Though not perfect, it's still beyond watchable!
And I don't speed delay! Maybe this guy was on speed when he saw
the film! Well, at any rate, if you liked this film then this is
the best version to get!

Movie Review: Chop Socky Classic!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I originally saw this film as a kid waaaay back in the 80's when my local TV station used to have "Midnite Kung Fu Theatre". As a fan of "Old Skool" flix I was happy when I found this DVD in my local music stores used bin for 5 bucks!!! The print quality is good and is obviously not the cut, full screen TV print. This is proably the best release of this film that you will find, unless some company undertakes a massive film preservation project for this flix. Ignore all the Kung Fu snobs that will complain about slow fight speed or other such B.S. issues and add this to your "old skool" collection.

Movie Review: Old "skool" Kung Fu
Summary: 5 Stars

The Kung fu kid is right,,,,there seems to be a mild delay in the fight scenes,,,but WHO CARES. That did not take nothing away from this kick-ass flick,,,I said it before and I'll say it again,,,three words: TOUGH, TOUGH, TOUGH. This flick has to be up there on all of your top 10 best, and don't lie. If this one is not in the collection,,,you're not a true old school nut,,,PERIOD!!! The story nontheless very mundane, but the fight scene is off the hizzel!! If you agree with me on this one,,,I recommend "Mystery Of Chess Boxing" The best ever!!
