Movie Review: Inuyasha is a classic Anime! Summary: 5 Stars
I for one don't like a lot of anime; but only have a select few favorites... one being Inuyasha. That is because I like Inuyasha for it's unique story and great cast of characters; not to mention the style and genre the anime fits into my personallity!
I mean they don't call this show a fuedal fairy tale for nothing you know! That's why I love it so much; it has lots of sword swinging action in fuedal Japan, romance between the 3 key characters Inuyasha, Kikyo, & Kagome, and a bunch of LOL comedy with the other characters!
Season 1 of Inuyasha is one of my favorite seasons because it's the season that started it all! My especially favorite episodes are of when we first meet Seesshomaru looking for Inuyasha's sword, Shippo and the Thunder Bros always makes me LOL big time, Kikyo being resurected, Miroku joins the group, and many others when we first meet Naraku & Sango!
Plus I think it's just great to have the entire Inuyasha Seasons on DVD; since you don't have to worry about having them recorded on your old VHS tapes! That is because I'm a collector; & I love having DVD's of all of my favorite shows & movies!
Movie Review: One of the best Japanese Anime Series.... Summary: 5 Stars
I began watching Inuyasha on Adult Swim of Cartoon Network, and was instanly fascinated by it. The storyline is an interesting one...and it's filled with romance, adventure, humor, etc/ The basic storyline: A modern age teenage reincarnation of a very powerful spiritual priestess falls in a well and is transported to feudal Japan. She meets the half-demon Inuyasha, and together, with 4 others...a monk Miroku, a demon slayer Sango, her pet Kilala, and the young fox demon Shippo, they look for the shards of the Sacred Jewel of 4 Souls (the jewel was broken and scattered) and are looking to destory the very powerful demon(s) Naroku. As mentioned before, there are various storylines that encompass the basic story. Each character has an interesting history and help the series become as addictive as it is. Note: you can always check for the series on Ebay. There are about 9 seasons of this series...I have 7 of them. The last two are available, but are not dubbed in English as of yet. If you are a fan of any of Japanense anime...Sailor Moon, Full Metal Alchemist, HellSing, etc...then you will definately be a an of Inuyasha!
Movie Review: I Love It!!! I Love It!!! I Love It!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Inuyasha is simply one of the best animes around in my opinion. It is probably my favorite series I've seen, alongside such classics like Sailor Moon and Outlaw Star. I got the boxed set for christmas and I just finished watching all the episodes today actually. The boxed set features the first 27 episodes, uncut and bilingual, with an option for English subtitles. This show is just so hilarious, the animation is superb, the story is fascinating, and the characters are just great. I have nothing but love for this show. Although lacking a bit in the extras department (there IS however a character relationship chart, a Japanese preview of the first Inuyasha movie, and textless opening and closings), whatever. Inuyasha is still the best. I cannot wait until Season 2 will be released. When is that going to be anyways? I don't think anyone really knows, but I think Viz will do it sometime this year. After all, they are already selling 3-pack DVDs from Season 3, so things look up. Hopefully, we will be able to see every single episode of this series one day. Let's keep on dubbing guys!
Movie Review: A new Twist on an old fairy Tale Summary: 5 Stars
When I first started to watch Inuyasha on T.V. I thought what in the world were the Japanese thinking? But as I started to watch I become interested. Soon after I bought the box set because I wanted to know what started this all. Even if it does display an Alice in Wonderland fairy tale it has its own twist. When you first start out you have Inuyasha a half demon trying to become something he's not. A Full demon. This half demon wants us to think that he can talk the talk and walk the walk but after Kagome comes in to the picture we see that Inuyasha slowly starts to turn around changing his mind about things. But when you mix a young fox Demon, A demon slyer, a two tailed cat demon, a perverted monk, and a flea that fleas, and a brother who is always up to no good you get one wild time. I would say give this Amine a shot before you say you don't like it. In Truth I didn't like it at first but after watching it more and more I started to fall in love with it and can't stop watching it. So They have given some old fairy tales a new twist in their own way!
