Movie Review: must have for all babysitters

I thought that this DVD was a great way to improve my CPR! The child who I am now currently babysitting parent's told me that I needed to know CPR before I could babysit their kid. I also was thinking about learning CPR because I have twin cousins who are 3 years old and I would hate for something to happen to them and I wouldn't know what to do. I have also heard many tragic drowning stories. I think that every babysitter should watch this DVD just incase! Also, if possible to take a CPR class. This DVD really made me realize the dangers there are around swimming pools and small toys that children could choke on! Now I will know what to do if something should ever happen when I would need to use this!Movie Review: Be prepared to save a childs life

I highly reccommend that you take the time to review this video. In as little as 15 minutes you can obtain the skills necessary to save a childs life. Can you imagine what this would mean to you if you were ever in that situation and needed to do CPR on a child. The instructor does a great job demonstrating all the skills needed to preform CPR on a child. Don't take a chance and find yourself in a situation without these CPR skills. As a grandparent I know I am better prepared, having reviewed this video, to do CPR on a child if I ever need to.

The new guidelines are included in the DVD and the only change to the old guidelines is the ratio 30:2. The narrator does cover the changes in the DVD and stresses that BOTH guidelines have the potential to save a life which is true. People watching this DVD need to know the basics of CPR and what to do and how to react in an emergency. The numbers are important but not the most important part. What is important is giving people the skills to be confident enough to act in an emergency and possibly save a life.

I am going to be babysitting soon and I had taken a babysitting class they talked about choking and CPR but really didn't spend much time teaching it. My mom's friend recommended my mom get this DVD for me to watch and review sometimes. I really liked the beginning when the boy drowns. It made me think how careful I have to be when I am alone with the kids I babysit. I learned a lot from the DVD and will watch it again like the lady said once a month and you will remember it better.Movie Review: Excellent Information

As a mother of 3 children under the age of 5 I found this program very good. I liked the fact that it wasn't too long. I could go back to any segment that I wanted to and could review it at any time. Unlike attending a full length CPR class which can take hours and I don't need to know the infant material which would be a waste of my time to sit through. It was understandable and definetly worth the price.
